Mike Bird has been representing Chemex in the Durham Area for over 10 years taking over from the previous Franchisee Martin Dix who also served for over 10 years.

The Chemex brand has been successfully trading in County Durham for over 25 years.

There are a number of loyal customers who have a long-standing relationship with Chemex, these include Care Homes, Schools, Butchers, Bakers, Pubs and Restaurants.

As one of the longest serving franchisees Mike has a wealth of experience in the products and services that Chemex have to offer, and he prides himself on his first-class customer service.

Prior to becoming a Chemex Franchisee I worked all over the world in the construction/oil and gas industry and on my travels I have acquired the skill set to best serve my customers those being hard work, diligence, honesty and integrity.

I think it is important to deliver a quality product and service whilst acknowledging that “value for money” is paramount.

I get the most satisfaction from my job when I can provide solutions to the everyday problems encountered by customers.
